Miatasolutions Angle adapters, drift lock kit for Mazda MX-5 Miata NA/NB/NBFL

I am very pleased to announce that we are developed drift lock kit steering angle adapters for Miata NA and NB models, in collaboration with suspension design expert.

Made from high grade S355 steel on CNC-machines also coated with a zinc layer for protection.

Adapters feature sleeves with tapered holes, ensuring that the ball joint fits perfectly over its entire surface which prevent excessive wear and breakage.

Now, let’s look at some numbers:

• The stock steering angle is 38 degrees,
• According to what I found on the internet, a welded steering arm offers approximately 45 degrees but with questionable geometry,
• Our adapter offers a 55 degree steering angle while maintaining proper geometry,
• Pro angle kits offers numerous suspension settings and a 65 degree steering angle at a price of over 1200 $.

Considering the above, I believe our product offers a good balance between price and performance.

A side effect is:

• increase negative camber by around 3 degrees, which can be somewhat corrected with camber bolts,
• after installation front suspension lowers by about 3 centimeters.

Miata lock kit adapters require shortening the tie rod (we are testing shorter rods from Nissan, which might avoid the need for cutting) and slight filing of the steering knuckle, as seen in one of the photos.

Set includes 2 adapters and mounting bolts.

I recommend considering combine this kit together with our billet short shifter or steering rack spacers to reduce bump steer.
