I used this product so I could install my ownd retro chrome window toggle switch up downs. The finish is very glossy but I think a more matt finish would match the original plastics better. With the console deleted the upper shift boot rubber is exposed (which looks fine) but the new console delete panel actually protrudes out far enough to sit a good 5-6mm out over the top of the rubber. Overall it worked fine and achieved the look I was after. Thanks Top Miata.
