The Jass Performance Vintage Style Bi-Layer Cluster Bezel features instrument cluster bezel for MX5 MK1 with integrated vintage style lights and decorative two tone finished elements.
It will provide:
- Enhanced clean classic look to the instrument cluster panel in the MK1/NA Mazda MX5/Miata roadster.
- Integration to the existing Jass Performance Interior Stainless Steel theme.
- Preserve essential functionalities:
– Car critical panel labels are backlit
– Safe/adequate light levels
– Dust insulation
- Direct integration to the existing variations of MK1 instrument clusters
- Compatibility with both LHD and RHD cars
- Preserve the options for use of aftermarket needle caps, gauge rings, gauge faces etc.
- Comes with engraved stainless center plates for the dials to bring the most out of the stock black classic gauge faces scheme
The MX5/Miata instrument clusters were available through the years and depending on the market with different warning lights,
For cars without HRW /heated rear window light/, referred to as 1.6 and cars with HRW, referred as 1.8.
ENGINE/BELT combo is common for USDM, JDM. FOG/HAZARD is common for EU and UK markets, but exceptions are common. However, as exceptions are common, please check and confirm before ordering.
Please note, small modification to the OEM cluster is needed in order to install the vintage style cluster bezel.
Instrument Cluster Warning Lights LED Backlight Set can be purchased separately to replace the OEM incandescent bulbs. The LEDs are chosen to provide diffused daylight white colour light. The provided LEDs are sufficient for a full spec late model MK1/NA.
Please note, the handbrake/brake light, when replaced with LED stays dimmed (doesn’t go fully off and lights brighter with the handbrake engaged). The OEM bulb can be reused if this is an issue.

Please note, the Bi Layer Cluster Bezel is featured on some of the product pictures with the Jass Performance Stainless Gauge faces. The Bi Layer cluster bezel is sold separately from them, but delivered with own decorative metal center plates.
LHD (Left Hand Drive) = Cars with the steering wheel on the left side of the cabin. (configuration used in countries that drive on the right side of the road like USA, most of Europe and the rest of the world)
RHD (Right Hand Drive) = The steering wheel is on the ​right ​side of the car (a configuration more commonly used for cars in Japan, UK, Australia and some other parts of the world.)
