The Jass Performance Vintage Style Cluster Bezel builds a level over the engraved Jass Performance bezel version with added plug and play functionalities.
It will:
– Provide enhanced clean classic look to the instrument cluster panel in the MK1/NA Mazda MX5/Miata roadster
– Integration to the existing Jass Performance Interior Stainless Steel theme
– Preserve essential functionalities:
- Car critical panel labels are backlit.
- Safe/adequate light levels.
- Dust insulation.
– Direct integration to the existing variations of MK1 instrument clusters
– Compatibility with both LHD and RHD cars
– Preserve the options for use of aftermarket needle caps, gauge rings, gauge faces etc.
– Comes with engraved stainless center plates for the dials to bring the most out of the stock black classic gauge faces scheme
The MX5/Miata instrument clusters were available through the years and depending on the market with different warning lights,
For cars without HRW /heated rear window light/, referred to as 1.6 and cars with HRW, referred as 1.8.
ENGINE/BELT combo is common for USDM, JDM. FOG/HAZARD is common for EU and UK markets, but exceptions are common. However, as exceptions are common, please check and confirm before ordering.
Please note, small modification to the OEM cluster is needed in order to install the vintage style cluster bezel.
LHD (Left Hand Drive) = Cars with the steering wheel on the left side of the cabin. (configuration used in countries that drive on the right side of the road like USA, most of Europe and the rest of the world)
RHD (Right Hand Drive) = The steering wheel is on the right side of the car (a configuration more commonly used for cars in Japan, UK, Australia and some other parts of the world.)

This product is well worth the money in my opinion! It looks phenominal installed in the car and really changes the feel of the interior. There were a few issues when i recieved the product:
1. The metal is really thin especially at the edges and if was bent so it wouldnt sit flat on the cluster. And the mileage reset would rub and pull it up. (A little superglue fixed everything)
2. The plug and play l.e.d’s didnt work. I was sent new leds overnighted (thanks!) although the issue was the plugs are a little too loose for the stock plugs so contact was bad. I ended up soldering directly to the board and it works perfect!
All in all the dash looks beautiful! And the service was top notch. I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Looks good once installed. Installation directions could use some improvement, at least for the USDM models. For example the ABS and wiper lights should be enlarged slightly so the LED can fully eliminate text.
